Relaxation UK is an unincorporated charity, launched on the 26th January, 2026.
A key goal is to provide information about relaxation and meditation techniques to enhance wellbeing. Our website will include a range of health resources. We will be holding online events including seminars and conferences. In addition, we will run virtual relaxation groups.
Currently our main team are our three trustees, Prof Stephen Palmer, Dr Siobhain O’Riordan and Kasia Szymanska. They are Chartered Psychologists who are keen to promote relaxation and meditation techniques to enhance wellbeing.
Relaxation UK will be actively involved with National Relaxation Day and International Relaxation Day.
The charity has a non-voting category of supporters known as “Friends of Relaxation UK”. In the first week of launching our charity we gained over 50 Friends. The Admission as a “Friend” is open to any individual who supports the Charity’s work. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals who join the Charity’s official social media groups or subscribe to its digital resources. No formal application process is required to become a Friend unless otherwise determined by the Trustees for specific programs. The main groups are LinkedIn and Facebook. “Friends” are beneficiaries of the Charity and not legal members and therefore have no legal liability for the Charity’s actions or debts.
